A meeting was held by Heads and Chairs of Governors on 29th October 2001 at a local school to discuss the Silverlands proposal. It was agreed by the meeting that the Director of Education's represenvative for North Surrey will covey the following message to the government....

"The twenty-five educational establishments within two and a half mile radius of Silverlands , unanimously urge the Home Office to withdraw its proposal for this development"
